Spy Bar

The legendary Spy Bar lies at the heart of Stureplan and is Stockholm's most famous nightclub. Media folk jostle with the alternative crowd. If you want to be sure to get in, go early. The club is always crowded and the line long. The atmosphere is best from three to five. That’s when the die-hard partiers arrive.

A tip is to go there early. The club fills up fast after 1-2 a.m.

Act like a player

I got into Spybar in five minutes and we were with four medium sized guys, two of them were Kurd. The queu wasn't that long but they were refussing people already, even hot chicks. Just put on a pokerface and act like a player. It opens all the doors(and legs).

What's up with bouncers in Stockholm clubs?

Why do bouncers always come up with the lamest excuse ever, in order to refuse you entry into a place?. This is not due to me, being Black African. This shit is general. I mean, I was @ this place called East in Stureplan to meet up with my Swedish friends and they wouldn't let me in. The bouncer asked If I was for the restaurant or drink, and I said, drink. He then went on to tell me that the restaurant is closed. I already knew where this is going!. I then said, i'm here to meet with my friends, and luckily for me, one of my Swedish friends spotted me and came up to the door. Damn! Are they all like this in Sweden?. This doesn't encourage party going tourist coming to Sweden.

Exremly stupid bouncers around

I completely agree with Borsi below. Bouncers here behave absolutely relentlessly if they r willing they will allow u, if they had a fight with their gf they wont allow u. VERY UNPROFESSIONALLY RUN CLUB. AVOID GOING!

not good, so you probably won't display it

Went there and waited for hours to get in , then the bouncer told us we were too drunk to get in , I wouldn't complain normally exept that we were all sober cause we were waiting for the club to open .
I strongly advise not to go , of course because Im angry, and of course no way to discuss with the bouncer, I knew it when I read the reviews, but when happens to you it always feels degrading
