Stockholm’s cultural elite has been dining well at Prinsen since 1897. The walls are decorated with the portraits of famous habitués. Prinsen is an excellent spot for the diner who wants to try well-prepared Swedish classic dishes in a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Their version of Biff Rydberg is renowned, and the service is professional and personal. Guests are met by Prinsen’s own coat check staff.

Worst ever!

Bad food bad food quality, bad service, rude staff The food served is not fresh and very small portions. Probably it is industrial pre manufactured quality. The service is very slow ,not coordinated and the staff is rude. This restaurant was good some years back but has totally deteriorated after a new management took over. Do not waste your money visiting this establishment

They tried to cheat on us!

One of the worst places I've ever been to. We didn't feel at ease right away seeing a dumb question in a waitress's eyes: "What the hell are you two stupid little tourists doing here in our gorgeous restaurant where we love to serve only the knitly-dressed local bourgeoisie?" The prices were very high, though I can't say that the food was WOW. But the worst part was the fact that they tried to cheat on us insolently, putting two sums in the bill - 560 SEK and 80 (!) euros. But 560 SEK is about 60 euros, not 80! Finally, we paid by card and left (forever, I believe). To sum up, I would NOT recommend this snobbish place with arrogant and dishonest staff to anyone.
