IKEA of Sweden

A phenomenon that has changed the entire world's view of home furnishing. Kungens Kurva in Skärholmen, south of Stockholm, is the home of the largest IKEA store in the world, which opened in 1965. The area is also home to numerous other megastores and shopping centers with affordable shopping.

too bad you have to wait for an hour for the free bus service. wish it was more often.

Free Ikea Shuttle Buss

There is a free shuttle bus for Ikea from the Central Station on Vasagatan every hour on the hour during weekdays. You should mention this on the website as it is the most convenient way to get to Ikea from central Stockholm. And it is free.

Sweden Holiday

I am looking forward to my holiday to Stockholm in July to check out Ikea. It's the best home shop I really like to visit and purchase good items from. My sister and her partner will show me around Stockholm.

i love ikea

i must say, my day trip to ikea was definitely the highlight of my entire holiday, it was my first proper holiday abroad without my cats. I havent been to another country since i visited the Glasgow cat sanctuary in '85. My IKEA shopping experience was the shit and made my holiday, best day of the last 35 years, absolutely ace. i recomend it to all my friends on myspace, my name is catlover12345

Unable to locate Ikea store

I was in Stockholm in August 2011 and wanted to visit an Ikea store but was unsuccessful cos of lack of directions (on Ikea's website). Though I got off at the correct Metro station, I didn't make it to Ikea, simply cos of no signagaes or directions at the station.

Why ever did you stop the production of your Tunhem line? I can only find people who are asking for it, nobody wants to sell. If there is enough demand, do you ever bring a product back?

Wanted! An old-fashioned clog/shoe shelving 'holder'.

I have noticed these outside of kitchen doors, in Holland. Perhaps you have them in Sweden too....I would very much like one! I am sure one of your wonderful designers would be only to happy to oblige. Thank you Ikea. and yes, higher chairs, etc. for we older folk!

Finally the matrix

I have bought IKEA products in all 4 countries that I lived outside of Brazil. I am excited about the opportunity of seeing the original store in the original country of the IKEA. Too bad is that I will not be able to buy and carry everything that I would like with me!!!!!!!!!!
