Chess, bowling, karaoke, or arcade games? Here's where to go in Stockholm for a night with of games and fun!
You're in good company and just ordered drinks and food. Why not complete the circle with a fun activity? All over Stockholm, you'll find bars for challenging friends in everything, from bowling and pool to arcade games and chess. Drop in for a spur-of-the-moment game of shuffleboard, or that pétanque match you've secretely been practicing for!
- Birka Bowling & Dart – Birka Bowling is one of Stockholm's largest bowling alleys. Besides bowling, it features a dart arena, karaoke rooms, and a sports bar where you can borrow board games like Yatzy and Klask.
- Moyagi – At Moyagi, you can bawl your favorite songs the classic way; in a karaoke booth with your friends. The catalog features over 150,000 songs. Drinks and food are served directly in your booth.
- Boulebar – This bastion of French drinks, food, and typical pétanque (or boule in Swedish) has been around since the 1990s. There are several outdoor locations open during the summer, but only the indoor Boulebar Rådhuset is open all year round.
- Biljardpalatset (link in Swedish) – Stockholm's largest pool hall has been around since 1963. The hall features 27 regular pool tables – for snooker, 8-ball, etc – and four tables for Carambole. You'll also find darts and shuffleboard on the premises.
- Hey STHLM – Stockholm's largest arcade hall is located at RoQ, a pool hall/bar next to the Stockholm Public Library. Located here are some 30 arcade games and pinball machines; fighting, lightgun games, dancing, and more.
- N3rds Bar – N3rds love of video- and computer games is evident in its menu and interior design. The bar features table-side gaming and has a large selection of consoles and games to choose from. You'll find both timeless retro classics and contemporary Steam hits.
- Red Bull Gaming Sphere – An offshoot of Inferno Online, Stockholm's largest gaming hall, catering to an older demographic. Red Bull Gaming Sphere features a bar serving drinks and food for your late-night LAN party.
- Alphaspel – Alphaspel is one of Stockholm's, and Sweden's, largest game stores for analog gaming; board games; tabletop role-playing games, collectible trading card games, and miniature wargames. The store also runs a bar, Alphabar, serving food and drinks, offering a to-borrow games selection.

- Svarta Hästen – Svarta Hästen welcomes experienced grandmasters and beginners alike, for a game of chess and a glass of wine. Players who want to sharpen their game can also book a session with the bar's chess instructor.
- Swing by Golfbaren – Golfbaren runs several outdoor locations in the summer. Swing is their year-round bar, offering classic miniature golf indoors.
- Tolv Stockholm – Tolv is located at the 3Arena and is the sports bar chain O'leary's largest location in Stockholm. Besides being a good place to watch football and hockey on a huge screen, Tolv has activities like bowling, darts, arcade games, and pinball.
- Ugglan Boule & Bar – Ugglan is best described as an activity center for adults. The bar, located under the streets of Södermalm, is filled with games and activities like petanque, pinball, shuffle-board, and more. Or if that's too hectic for you, just pick up a board game from the bar.
