Café Opera

Everyone who is anyone has partied here, and quite a few nobodies, beneath the famous crystal chandeliers. This recently renovated club is housed in magnificent interior spaces in the Opera House, adjacent to with the equally famous Operakällaren restaurant.

Calle P is beautifully situated in Berzelii Park, at walking distance from the venerable Berns Sallonger, Chinateatern, and The Royal Dramatic Theatre. Three dancefloors, karaoke and dinner shows – Golden Hits aims to give its guests a complete all-night experience. The establishment opened its doors 1992 and has established itself as a polar opposite of the exclusive, &quot;cool&quot; side of the nightclub scene. At Golden Hits, you can expect to recognize the songs being played (hence the name), and perhaps this is the reason for its mixed clientele – with different generations dancing and singing the night away, side by side.

Guldbaren, (The Gold bar) at the five-star Nobis Hotel is as elegant as it sounds. The walls and ceiling are covered with gold-framed mirrors and the cocktails are master-class. Hang out at the bar or relax on a sofa in the beautiful atrium right next to it.

The planet’s first permanent ice bar, made of ice from the world-famous Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi, Lapland. Everything except the liquids in the drinks is made of ice, and the temperature is kept at a constant 23 degrees Fahrenheit.

Restaurant and bar Röda Huset (literally: &quot;The Red House&quot;) is located fittingly enough in the red building overlooking Sergels Torg from Malmskillnadsgatan. The drink menu is designed by award-winning bartender Hampus Thunholm and incorporates local flavors from Sweden like carrots, plums, and raspberries.

Spesso is Italian for &quot;often&quot; and the ambition of this centrally located rooftop restaurant is to be a place diners gladly return to, meal after meal. The panoramic view of Stockholm is accompanied by modern Italian dishes, made on seasonal ingredients.

Stockholm under stjärnonrna - SUS - is a rooftop bar located in in the middle of Stockholm, just a short walk from either the T-Centralen or Kungsträdgården metro station. A mixed crowd, relaxed atmosphere, good drinks and great music (with sets that are regularly broadcasted on their Facebook-page) makes SUS a great hang out-spot during warm summer evenings, with a killer view to boot!

Colorful, spicy, and good-natured – that’s the vibe at Surfers. It may be surprising from the name, but Surfers is home to an excellent Chinese restaurant. Inspired by the 23 flavors of Sichuan cuisine and 56 cooking methods, the menu is based on some fifteen small plates, and you get to choose which favorites to share with your friends. The gorgeous drinks feature Asian flavors and are worth the visit themselves. A sister restaurant is located in Visby on Gotland.
