Publish date: 3 July 2024
Burger, fries, and a beer or milkshake; a timeless combo. Here are Stockholm's best burger joints.
Ready for a proper burger? Since the early 2010s, Sweden has experienced a renaissance of juicy smashed burgers replacing the standard frozen meat patty.
Simple street food has become an art unto itself with many local Swedish artisan burger restaurants all over town serving meat, chicken, and vegan burgers in a myriad of flavors and combinations.
Of course, you'll find several international burger chains, like Mcdonald's and Burger King in Stockholm. The largest Swedish burger franchise is Max with some 35-40 locations (page in Swedish) in the Stockholm region.
