Bonnard and the North

An exhibition on the groundbreaking French artist Pierre Bonnard, whose paintings are unique universes of light and colour, snapshots of moments and emotions. Many artists have been influenced by Bonnard, including here in Scandinavia, which is why the exhibition also features work by Nordic artists. The project is an international collaboration, with paintings on loan from the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the National Gallery of Art in Washingtons.
