United Nations Day: Ceremony

Stockholm’s peacekeeping veterans will celebrate with a torchlit procession from the Sjöhistoriska museet the shore of Djurgårdsbrunnsviken. During the ceremony, there will be speeches, a religious service, music, and a wreath-laying. The public is invited to attend and is welcome to light candles at the UN monument, which is a memorial dedicated to the Swedes who lost their lives in UN service.
