Crossroads: Sweden – Ukraine through a 1000 Years

The starting point for this exhibition comes from archaeological findings from the Viking Age and the marriage between Ingegerd Olofsdotter and Yaroslav I of Kyiv. It then continues into the political alliances of the 17th and 18th centuries, such as Charles XII’s alliance with Cossack leader Mazepa in the early 1700s, the people of Gammalsvenskby, and today’s war situation.
