Friends of Ladakh 40 Years Jubilee

Far up in the Indian Himalayas lays Ladakh, a secluded mountain region. When tourism boomed in the 1970s there was a need to preserve the unique culture and life in Ladakh. Friends of Ladakh have contributed to local initiatives since then. The 24th of November at 13-15 Friends of Ladakh welcomes the public to a jubilee meeting and tells their story from the past 40 years. Previous board members will share their stories from Ladakh and one of the local cooperators will participate online.
