GoGo Penguin

GoGo Penguin is a piano jazz trio from Manchester, England that seamlessly blends rock, post-bop and minimalist influences with electronic elements. The trio was formed in Manchester in 2012 by pianist Chris Illingworth, bassist Nick Blacka and drummer Rob Turner. The band’s sound contains as much post-bop jazz as classical Western music, Massive Attack as Esbjörn Svensson Trio, Debussy and Aphex Twin as Brian Eno.
