Le Cri du Caire

The young Egyptian poet, singer and writer Abdullah Miniawy became a voice for the country’s young generation in the wake of the Arab Spring and the crushed revolution of 2011. Now Abdullah Miniawy’s unique band Le Cri du Caire is coming to Fasching. A band that at the crossroads between rock, Sufi poetry, jazz, spoken word and oriental diphthongs creates a border-crossing universe.
