Lecture at Artipelag: Bærtling Before Bærtling

Few artists are as strongly associated with Swedish concretism as Olle Bærtling. Before he discovered his abstract expression, he worked in a color expressionist style with clear inspiration from Matisse and Van Gogh. On Saturday, 19 October, at 14:00, Magnus Jensner, director of the Halland Art Museum, will give a lecture (in Swedish) on Bærtling's early works and artistic development.
