Marthe Lea Band

Norwegian tenor saxophonist Marthe Lea is about to conquer the jazz world with a band that combines spiritual jazz, folk music from several continents and free forms in an uplifting and completely unique musical mix. Her inclusive and rich musical universe incorporates echoes of Don Cherry’s early music, passes Ale Möller and both Ethiopian and Gnawa elements before landing in something reminiscent of our own Goran Kajfeš Subtropic Arkestra.
