Opera: The Treasure

Selma Lagerlöfs story The Treasure, about a young girl's love and a silver treasure with a curse over it, takes place in an ice-covered Marstrand. With Sara Bergmark Elfgren's libretto and Peter Nordahl's music, it becomes a gothic opera about sincerely sisterhood, a dangerous first love, revenge, guilt and sudden death.
