Opening and Exhibition: "Cognitive Exile" with the Swedish-Sudanese Artist Edmon Khalil

On November 21, SKHLM Konsthall will be inaugurated with the separate exhibition "Cognitive Exile" with the Swedish-Sudanese artist Edmon Khalil. Through large-scale drawings and colorful paintings, how colonialism and the history of slavery affect cultural identity is examined. Art becomes here a tool for understanding these hegemonic processes and raises questions about identity, self-awareness and cultural history.
