Party for Hugo Alfvén 150th Anniversary

The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra under Fredrik Burstedt leads this festive occasion with a spirited, playful concert. There will be a celebration of the 150th anniversary of Hugo Alfvén’s birth by performing his exuberant Festspel, known from the Nobel Prize ceremony, and the charming Symphony No. 2. Lisa Streich’s humorous concerto grosso Jubelhemd will be performed for the first time at Berwaldhallen.
