Pink Riot

Welcome to Pink Riot! 8 women perform romances by 8 women on the 8th of March. This programme performed on International Women's Day features only female composers. Constantly highlighting classical female composers is obviously important and many are now part of our standard repertoire. Sometimes, however, a Pink Riot is needed to remind us of the wealth of music we have inherited from female composers. Women composers exist, they are many and they are very good.
