Romance Concert in Old City

The concert is dedicated to songs written by Jean Sibelius to Johan Ludvig Runeberg's texts. Throughout his long and productive life as a composer, Jean Sibelius often returned to the texts of the Finnish national bard Runeberg. The concert will be performed by tenor Mattias Lundström, who is in his final year of the Classical Music program, and pianist Nigar Dadascheva from the Royal College of Music.
