Sámi National Day at Skansen

Since 1992, Sámi National Day has been celebrated on 6 February. Every year Skansen invites you to commemorate Sámi National Day in partnership with the Stockholm Sámi Association and in 2024 the celebrations take place during the whole week, starting from February 6. Visit the buildings at the Saemien Sijte at Skansen and take part in Sámi history and many activities, as well as the National Day celebration, visit the children's workshop, meet Amnesty Sápmi and much more!
