Three sisters who have run a cultural center & annual midwinter festival in Korpilombolo since 2004. How they have managed to stop the exodus & engage an entire village using culture as a means. Anna Pettersson has interviewed them & with the help of cinematographer Klas Hjertberg documented parts of the sisters' everyday life & created a performance about their life's work. About how they have influenced their surroundings by creating physical meeting places for cultural exchanges & about their project to translate the Bible into Meänkieli.
