The Songs and Hymns of Christmas

Boxing Day, also known as St Stephen's Day, is dedicated to Saint Stephen. At Stockholm Cathedral, the day is celebrated with a traditional concert where the audience and performers join together to sing Christmas carols and hymns. Historically, young people celebrated by dressing up and riding through the village, singing traditional St Stephen’s songs. Performers include Stockholm Cathedral Choir, Lukas Arvidsson violin, Mattias Wager organ, Helene Stureborg, and Gary Graden conductors.
