Bio Fågel Blå

Bio Fågel Blå was resurrected in the fall of 2023, with a renovated auditorium, a new bar, and a bistro. The cinema initially opened in 1926, making it one of Stockholm's oldest. Famously, Fågel Blå was one of Ingmar Bergman's favorite theatres. The famed director grew up in the same block and regularly visited Bio Fågel Blå; both as a child and adult. This legacy is honored to this day with "Bergman Modays" showing his films with English subtitles.
