Gustav III's Museum of Antiquities

Alexis Daflos, Kungliga Hovstaterna

The museum holds the collection of classical sculptures purchased by King Gustav III during his journey to Italy (1783–84).

This is Sweden’s oldest public art museum, recently renovated and housed in its original location in the Royal Palace.

The Museum of Antiquities is open during the summer season May-September.
