Skärisbiografen is located in the Stockholm suburb of Skärholmen, in the same building as Kulturhuset Stadsteaterns satellite (which also runs the cinema). The movie theater is open to all but is the first in Stockholm to focus on films for children and teenagers (ages 5-19). Besides its regular programming Skärisbiografen hosts film festivals, educational screenings and "knattebio"; movies for toddlers.
