Stadsarkivet (The City Archive)

The City Archive of Stockholm collects and stores all public information, and publications released by the City of Stockholm. In other words, it's a great place to learn more about the city's history, or maybe your own family's, as you'll find everything from birth and marriage certificates, tourism pamphlets and magazines, building permits, and much more. The archive's main building is located at the top of Kungsklippan, while a new annex opened at Liljeholmen in 2019 to increase the storage capacity.
