Tegnérlunden was built in the 1940s and is a popular lunch spot for takeaway lunches during spring and summer. One of its defining traits is the large statue of playwright August Strindberg by Carl Eldh. But avid Astrid Lindgren-readers might also recognize the name since it's featured in several of her books. It's for example here that Bo Vilhelm Olsson lest out the genie that whisks him away to The Land of Far Away in Mio, My Son.
