The Archipelago Trail

The Archipelago Trail will officially open in 2024 as a unique hiking trail through the Stockholm archipelago. When finished the trail will be 270 km long (almost 168 miles) divided into 20 legs, of varying length and difficulty. The trail is spread across 21 islands – from Arholma in the North to Landsort in the South – and takes hikers through pristine nature and picturesque fishing hamlets. Individual sections of the trail can be reached by public transportation ferry, with resting -and picnic spots along the way.
