Publish date: 18 March 2025
The Swedish band Kent’s reunion draws fans from near and far. Here’s how you can make the most of your Kent-week.
It’s finally time to welcome Kent back to Stockholm! For six nights, starting on March 21, they will take the stage at 3Arena, and the entire city will be celebrating.
Have you heard of the Swedish band Kent? If you’re interested in music sung in Swedish, you probably have. Even though they released two albums in both Swedish and English, it’s their Swedish albums that made them famous—even outside of Sweden. For example, they have a dedicated following in Finland.
Since their start in 1990, Kent has become one of Sweden’s most popular bands, and they’re even a personal favorite of Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. The band has been based in Stockholm since the early 1990s, and it was here they had their big breakthrough. It was also in Stockholm that they announced their farewell in 2016—and now, nine years later, their long-awaited reunion.
This is set to be a week full of parties, events, and emotions. Here are some tips on how to make the most of Kent-week in Stockholm.

Fan of Kent? You’ll probably like this
Stockholm has a lot to offer, both in and around the concerts. Here are some Kent-themed recommendations.
- Lilla Ego – The co-founder and chef behind this restaurant, which takes its name from the Kent song "Stoppa mig juni (Lilla Ego)", is a huge Kent fan and exclusively plays Kent songs in his establishment. To celebrate the band's reunion, they will open the restaurant for lunch for the first time ever.
- Berns – The popular nightclub will host the official after-parties for the first two concert nights. Only Kent songs will be played, and the Kent choir will perform.
- Tolv – If you hate traveling from the pre-party to the concert, Tolv’s official pre-party is perfect. Located just beneath the arena, it’s the most convenient place to start the evening.
- Berns Hotel – Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, it might be worth a detour because, for one week, the reception area will be transformed into a merch store with exclusive products.
- Röda Huset – For a limited time, you can order a drink called "Kräm", inspired by the Kent song of the same name.
- Svarta Hästen – If you want to warm up or wind down with a game of chess, this is the place for you. This chess and wine club will play only Kent songs on these special nights.
- Tranan – A classic restaurant with a famous bar in the cellar. It’s so well-known that the bar even made its way into the Kent song "Skogarna". Here, you can start the evening with traditional Swedish food with a twist.
- Långbro Värdshus – A special Kent-themed menu will be served on concert nights. Expect great food and drinks with names inspired by Kent songs.
