Museums with great restaurants

Planning a day of culture and history combined with a lovely meal? Many of Stockholm’s museums have great restaurants, that are more than just a simple cafeteria or mess hall.
Museum explorers might need a good meal to digest all the knowledge they've just amassed. And if you're to make a whole day out of your visit, a break might be a good idea to charge your batteries. Maybe a lunch, dinner or a nice fika break. Luckily many museums in Stockholm have restaurants that are as memorable and innovative as the exhibitions.
The restaurant at Fotografiska has been praised for its organic and vegetarian menu, and the restaurant at Spritmuseum has won several awards under the guidance of head chef Petter Nilsson. At Blå+, the new annex at Liljevalchs art gallery, you'll be treated to an entirely vegetarian meal, and at The National Museum of Science and Technology's restaurant sustainability is key. Besides cultivating its own crops and herbs, the restaurant is transparent with its water and power consumption to visualize every meal's carbon footprint.
In other words, sometimes the museum restaurant is worth a visit alone.
