This cozy little café in the heart of Gamla Stan was one of the first openly LGBT-friendly establishments in Stockholm. Exquisite sandwiches and pastries, and in summer a popular alfresco section.

The wine bar Folii is the brainchild of sommeliers Béatrice Becher and Jonas Sandberg. Combining their many years of experience and expertise, the bar offers an ever-changing wine list depending on their new discoveries, and a menu to compliment their current favorites.

Koppartälten (copper-tents) at Haga, elaborate light blue ”tents” build 1787. The front is painted copper plates, hence the name of these pretty buildings.

Part of the Royal National City Park, the lush Haga Park (or just Haga) is situated just north of Stockholm in the suburb of Solna. Founded by the monarch Gustav III in 1780-1797, Haga is Sweden&#x27;s foremost example of an English landscape park, and one of Sweden&#x27;s most popular recreational areas. It&#x27;s also the site of many historical landmarks. The Chinese Temple, The Turkish Kiosk, and The Royal Burial Ground are all found in the park. Within the park is also Haga Palace, the residence of Crown Princess Victoria and her family.

L&#x27;Avventura&#x27;s is located on the premises of a former movie theater which is hinted at both in its name (having a namesake in Michelangelo Antonioni&#x27;s 1961 masterpiece) and in its stylish and grandiose main dining room. The menu consists of classic dishes covering the whole Apennine peninsula. The restaurant&#x27;s ambition is simply to take Italian dining in Stockholm and bring it to a whole new level.

A 500-meter long (quarter-mile) walking path with a magnificent view of Lake Mälaren, Stockholm City Hall, and Riddarholmen, especially at sunrise and sunset. The path is lined with charming houses on one side and a beautiful view on the other. There is, of course, a safety rail on the path, but be careful in the wintertime when parts of the path might be a bit slippery.

The 106-meter tall tower has three crowns, which is the Swedish national coat of arms, at its apex. Behind the magnificent facades are offices and session halls for politicians and officials, as well as splendid assembly rooms and unique works of art. Stockholm’s municipal council meets in Rådssalen, the Council Chamber.The great Nobel banquet is also held at City Hall. After dinner in Blå Hallen, the Blue Hall, Nobel Prize laureates, royalties, and guests dance in Gyllene Salen, the Golden Hall, with its 18 million gold mosaic tiles.The City Hall shop features specially designed souvenirs and presents that commemorate City Hall and Stockholm. The City Hall is open to the public through guided tours only. Guided tours are held daily in Swedish and English at certain hours and can be canceled with short notice due to events. <a id="4101" linktype="page">The City Hall Tower </a>is open during the summer months (May to August). During this period, you can climb up inside the tower and enjoy a fantastic view of the city.

Kungliga Operan has been the Swedish national venue for opera and ballet since January 18, 1773. You can visit Kungliga Operan as a member of the audience at one of the performances or take a guided tour.
