Classic hobby store offering a wide range of collectible card games, such as Magic: The Gathering, Pókemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh!. In the basement, their non-profit association organizes regular events, spanning from game nights for beginners to major tournaments. Eden Smedsudden

The idea behind Eden is to make a place that combines relaxation, wellness, great food, and good vibes in green surroundings. The restaurant-and-bar is located at the far end of Smedsudden, in a renovated 19th-century villa called Annexet. The menu takes cues from Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, with simple dishes made from fresh ingredients.

Index has been active since 1974, initially as a gallery and magazine showcasing Scandinavian photography and contemporary art. Komet Café

Cozy café Komet opened in 2021 and soon became one of the most popular cafées and bakeries on Kungsholmen. You&#x27;ll find French classics, like croissants and pain au chocolate, Swedish favorites like cinnamon buns and seasonal semlas, coffee from Stockholm Roast, and vegetarian sandwiches for lunch.

Kronobergsparken on Kungsholmen was made into a public park in the early years of the 20th century. Formerly the site of a mill, its a beloved oasis for the residents of Kungsholmen with both lush greenery and a playground for children.

Several chefs are preparing fresh food on a large table. Vegetables, a whole fish and many crabs are part of the display. Sauces and butter are places here and there.

A couple of years ago, reputed gourmet restaurant Lux on the island of Lilla Essingen re-opened with a more simplistic and affordable concept. Close to nature, Scandinavian flavors and local produce is however still the main focus. Cozy atmosphere and secluded location with Lake Mälaren nearby.

Rålambshovsparken on Kungsholmen is a popular park for activities during the summer. The park is located between two popular residential areas, with a great view over Riddarfjärden, City Hall, and Gamla Stan. People come here to play soccer, boule, beach volleyball, softball or visit the skate park. During the summer you can also take part in an aerobics session, or take a swim in the waters of Lake Mälaren.

AG is the chemical symbol for silver and the name stems from the fact that this trendy and popular industrial-chic restaurant on Kungsholmen is set in an old silver factory. Despite its somewhat off-beat location and the fierce competition, AG immediately became a meeting place that attracted ’everyone’ and a major topic of conversation when it opened its doors in 2011. Specialising in meat, which is tenderized on site in a large fridge that can be inspected as you take your seats.

The City Archive of Stockholm collects and stores all public information, and publications released by the City of Stockholm. In other words, it&#x27;s a great place to learn more about the city&#x27;s history, or maybe your own family&#x27;s, as you&#x27;ll find everything from birth and marriage certificates, tourism pamphlets and magazines, building permits, and much more. The archive&#x27;s main building is located at the top of Kungsklippan, while a new annex opened at Liljeholmen in 2019 to increase the storage capacity.

Everyone who doesn’t have the advantage of being invited to the Nobel ceremonies can still sample the food at Stadshuskällaren, which offers all of the Nobel menus that have been served since 1901. The restaurant is located in Stockholm City Hall (where the annual Nobel banquet is served in the Blue Hall). The cellar vault provides a classic atmosphere.

For those who like adventure and nature, but prefer to eat and sleep comfortably, Stockholm Adventures offers activities and guided tours all year round. During the summer they offer sailing, kayaking, wildlife safaris, bicycle tours, and winter time they will take you out ice skating on natural ice. The 106-meter tall tower has three crowns, which is the Swedish national coat of arms, at its apex. Behind the magnificent facades are offices and session halls for politicians and officials, as well as splendid assembly rooms and unique works of art. Stockholm’s municipal council meets in Rådssalen, the Council Chamber.The great Nobel banquet is also held at City Hall. After dinner in Blå Hallen, the Blue Hall, Nobel Prize laureates, royalties, and guests dance in Gyllene Salen, the Golden Hall, with its 18 million gold mosaic tiles.The City Hall shop features specially designed souvenirs and presents that commemorate City Hall and Stockholm. The City Hall is open to the public through guided tours only. Guided tours are held daily in Swedish and English at certain hours and can be canceled with short notice due to events. <a id="4101" linktype="page">The City Hall Tower </a>is open during the summer months (May to August). During this period, you can climb up inside the tower and enjoy a fantastic view of the city.

The restaurant café is located at Norr Mälarstrand which makes an ideal take away-spot if you want to have lunch at the pontoons just across the street or just around the corner in the Rålambshovs Park.
